    1852-P US Gold Double Eagle - This somewhat common Philly date G is a RARITY in the shipwreck category, with only a few hundred pieces recovered from the Atlantic seabed. This lightly worn AU50 example is from the SS Central America, lost in a hurricane off the Carolinas in September 1857. Slabbed in a proper Bob Evans holder with a pinch of California gold dust.
