1858-S Better, early date  gold Liberty Double Eagle, NGC AU58.  Very pleasing and wonderfully attractive, and with only the usual, very modest marks found on a coin that actually circulated out west for an extremely limited time, and then was put away.  The coin is very lustrous, displays lovely, bright medium yellow gold color and has excellent eye appeal.  There are no distractions.  This coin is in an older NGC holder, and is thus not a recently returned "dirty euro-look" coin.
