    Description

1950's to 1960's Nurses Cape "St. Anthony School of Nursing" Oklahoma. Collar marked St. A.H. inside personally marked D.J.C. Outside is a dark blue with brass colored buttons, inside is red. D.J.C. is for Darla J. Carroll.
For it's age it is excellent condition, with some moth nip marks (pictured). Included is a picture I found in the school's yearbook from class of 1959 of Ms. Carroll.
After joining the US Air Force she became a Flight Nurse Capt. Darla J. Carroll who later married & became Colonel Darla J. Soedar. Served at USAF Hospital Wilford Hall and at varying times was an O.R. Supervisor and USAF Medical IG.
Her husband was Vietnam/Air Medal winner Lt. Col. Eugene H. Soedar who tragically lost his life in an F-111 crash in 1979 during Operation Red Flag, Nellis AFB, TX.
