Description
This is a series of 4 prints depicting the history on Nursing. These prints were sold in 1960 by Budget Uniform Center in Philadelphia. These prints are color recreations of paintings made by artist William Shoyer.These prints are framed and have a glass covering. All appear to have the original paper backing on the back of the frame. All are in great condition, but the frames do have some places where the paint is coming off.
As noted, all prints are in great condition. See picture 1.
The first print has the year 1242 on it. This print depicts a Catholic Order of Cannesses nurse. Both the front and back of this framed print are in great condition. See pictures 2 and 3.
The second print has the year 1863 on it. This print depicts a Civil War nurse caring for the wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg. Again, both the front and back of the framed print are in great condition. See pictures 4 and 5.
The third print has the year 1880 on it. This print depicts a Community Public Health Nurse caring for a patient. The front and back of this framed print are in great condition. See pictures 6 and 7.
The fourth print has the year 1925 on it. This print is titled Roaring 20s Flapper Nurse. The front and back of this framed print are in great condition. See pictures 8 and 9.
At the bottom of each picture is marked, "Copyright 1960 by Budget Uniform Center, Philadelphia." On the print is the name of the artist, "Shayer." See picture 10.
As noted above, all these prints are in great condition. However, these are USED and as such are being sold AS IS. Please see the pictures for a look at the prints and their condition as the pictures are part of the description.
