    Description

    This is a Patented 1898, 'The Royal" check protector by Rouss Mfg. Co., NY. Cast iron with nickel top, measuring about 4" tall and 5" diameter at base. Near mint condition, fully working, paint with gold decoration is like new. All original, no repairs that I can see.  Very hard to find a piece like this.  We are offering this antique piece with NO RESERVE, and buyer will pay shipping.
