Here is a nice Antique Wooden Cash Register / Till for your buying consideration.  Would make a great gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself!
Beautiful un-restored wood cash register from the early 1900s.  Registers were also called tills in the old days.  Nice intact wood case here.  Beautiful wood and graining, appears to be made of oak.  Also adorned with brass trim and drawer pull and then two glass pieces on the top.  The composite maker label, for Thomas O'Brien of Liverpool England, is still in place on the opposite side of the drawer.
We have just wiped the till down.  The case could still use a good cleaning.  Case has dovetailed or finger joints on the back and front sides.  Has a serial number of "23702" on the label on the outside end of the till.  The top is securely attached to the case by the hinges.  Hairline to top out on the hinge side, still securely together.  Couple of cracks to the wood bottom of the case by the two screws closest to the drawer.  Also, some minor chipping above the cash drawer.
The brass door pull does not appear to be original.  See some other screw holes there.  Some chipping of the wood along the bottom front of the door, not visible without turning the piece over.
The slots in the drawer are fixed in place.  The case is dirty inside and some ink and grease buildup over the years, so needs a good cleaning.
The money drawer opens.  There is no bell chime, and appears there never was one.  A gold colored fancy knob on the front of the cash drawer is still in place.  Has some numbers on the drawer pull as well.  Some finish loss to the drawer pull from use/wear. There is no lock key for this register.  The lock is in place and has the number"22" impressed into it.
There is a paper label inside of the case that shows how to operate the register.
Shows some wear and tearing to it.
The manufacturer tag is on the piece.  Was made by Thomas O'Brien of Liverpool, England.  The name is also showing on the larger glass/brass piece on top near the drawer, but almost worn off.  The two brass pieces on top of the register are securely attached to the case.  The two pieces of glass are in place, no cracking or blistering, do show scratching.
This type register was commonly used in general stores, stables, blacksmith automobile shops etc..  Not one of the fancy ones you would see in an apothecary or candy/soda fountain area.  No number keys with sort of register.  Purpose was to be able to generate a duplicate copy invoice/receipt, one for customer and one for the merchant's needs.
All the major pieces of the wooden cash register seem to be here, but can't be certain that all there.  So, what you see is what you get.
Selling the register in not operating condition.
