Cool Vintage Unusual Decorative 8” Plate Nurses

Cool Vintage 8” Plate With Nurses. Primarily pastel blue in color.
Found at an estate where the couple is a doctor and a nurse. I know nothing about it other than the majority of the gold edging is worn off. I think it should be used as a decorative piece and not for eating off of.
Possibly an appreciative patient made it for her?
