    Description

    A pair of 10kt gold pins from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario.  They came from an estate of a nurse who nursed there in the 1920's.  The larger pin is engraved with the maker's name "Ellis", the nurse's name and October, 1921.  The smaller pin is engraved with the maker's name "Pyrie" and the nurse's initials.  Inclusive of fittings, the larger pin weighs 7.6 grams. It measures 1 1/8 inches tall.  The smaller pin weighs 0.9 grams and measures 3/8 inches tall.  See photos for condition as these are part of the description.
