  • Condition: Approximately 8" x 11". B/W print ad. No tears, rips, creases, foxing, or tape residue. Edges are starting to become brittle from aging, so use care and caution while handling or removing it from its protective vinyl cover. Considering it's 85 -Years-Old, it's in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The Nation's Business Magazine, OCTOBER 1935. Left margin is abbreviated, possibly due to it's having been harvested from a hard-bound compilation of six- or 12-months' issues of the magazine.

    Description

    AD may have shadowing and pixel waves on grey-scale photos. This effect is caused by the pixelization by the scanner.  These shadows appear only in the photo (scan) in this listing.  The shadowing does NOT appear on the ad itself when viewed by the naked eye.
    NATION'S BUSINESS magazine was published monthly by the National Chamber of Commerce.  Many advertisements were utilized to appeal to, AND LIMITED TO, the special market of business managers and/or administrators, and Chamber members.  Therefore, such ads are extremely difficult for collectors to find as they were limited to specific national advertising campaigns.
    WILL MAIL USPS FIRST CLASS.  Ads will be WELL PROTECTED from damage due to water and/or mishandling. I use heavy corrugated and/or card stock on each side. Ads are enclosed in acid-free vinyl page protectors that are sealed against water, unless penetrated in handling. An acid-free backer board is also inside the protector prior to sealing. The odds of the postal service jamming the envelope into your
    mailbox
    are slim. Both sides of the envelope will be labeled "PHOTOS.  DO NOT BEND".  I pack as I would like to receive them.
