    Up for auction is a listing for a vintage Quixsum fractional adding machine - Model B 1795.  The Quixsum adding machine was patented in 1924 by Precision Adding Machine Co. from Rhode Island and North Carolina. It is a stylus-driven circular adder with carry  but not subtraction.  Clearing is by holding down the clearing lever and turning the dials to zero, one by one.  I honestly do not understand how it works.  I am able to turn the dials - this model is specifically for adding hundreds, feet, inches and fractions.  The wood is in pretty good condition - there is NO box - what you see is what you get.  I don't have much knowledge nor know if it works correctly.
    It measures approximately 15" x 6" and weighs close to 4 pounds.

    Unfortunately, in May 2021, he passed away after a long battle with cancer.
