    Description

    For sale is a very nice and hard to find antique cast iron receipt machine from The Globe Register Company out of Cincinnati, OH. The back plate indicates it is the "Size A" and has four patent dates, the first one being Jan. 1, 1885, and the last being June 2, 1903. Therefore, we consider this piece to have been manufactured some time shortly after the 1903 patent date. Has original key.  One top piece needs to be welded back on as shown.  This piece measures approximately 18.5" long, 8" tall, and 6" wide (these are approximate measurements of the body - there are a lot of extremities.) It is a heavy piece weighing in at just over 19 pounds.  The original paper roller is still on the inside, as are the paper guides.  It looks great in our store next to our National Cash Register The cast scroll-work is stunning and on the sides are three large globes, each with a corresponding letter "G,R,C" for Globe Register Company.   Please see pictures to evaluate the condition further.
