Vintage Guild St Barnabas for Nurses Medal Medalion Watch Fob With Chain 1886.
Measures 1 1/8 by 7/8 in. It is made of metal thAt looks like copper but not sure but it does show aging. It has an attached chain which may have held a watch or attached to uniform.
One side of the medal reads, "Guild of St. Barnabas, For Nurses, 1886", and the obverse reads, " Blessed Are The Merciful ". The St. Barnabas nurses guilds originated in England, with the purpose of adding spirituality and support to the nurses training. Great medical nurse collectible
