Vintage Monroe High Speed Adding Calculator #4 by Monroe Calculating Machine Co.

Description

Vintage Monroe High Speed Adding Calculator. It has a long 10 ft. power cord which shows wear at the female end but still in good operating condition. I don’t know how it is suppose to work. Some of the keys stick. The hand crank on the right side easily turns the number display on the carriage. Machine measure 13" wide at the carriage and 10” wide in key area. When I plugged it in there was a sound or noise. Label underneath says "Monroe Calculating Machine Co. #4 Made in New York, USA. No 4. 100-135 Volts, 0- 60 Cycles A.C." It appears that one key on the bottom row is missing but I am not positive. Also, the keys look like they are made of bakelite.  I could not really test it because I don't know how it works,
