Vintage Montgomery Ward Model DAG-8397 Electric Adding Machine, Free Shipping!
Here we have an old-timey electric adding machine, of the variety that takes a receipt-like roll of paper. Sadly, I do not have such a roll of paper to test this machine. It does power up, but I have to list this as "untested, AS-IS, no returns".
I do not know the history of this machine, or these machines in general. These are from well-before the days of Excel, back when people had to keep everything on physical paper. It is the same vaguely-beige color that early PCs loved so much.
I suppose this could be used as set decorations or as a prop, if you aren't the kind of person who needs to add things up on what is essentially an early calculator (not that there's anything wrong with that).
