    Vintage Resulta 7 Adding Machine
    Made in West Germany  December 1955
    Very Quiet Works
    This is a manual calculator, it is not electric or battery operated, therefore not needing any kind of power. Calculates to ,999.99.
    This piece measures 6" long, 3 1/2" wide and 4 1/2" tall and pretty much made of all metal. Very heavy for a small calculator. It does
    not
    include the stylist that some videos talk about.  I suppose you could use any stylist with a hard tip as you only need something firm to move the bars in the correct position.
    Made in West Germany and the bottom has the numbers 1255 etched into it.  I've learned that this is the date this piece was made, so December 1955. It could use a light cleaning and it does have some scratches, after all it is 66 years old.
    I am no expert on calculators so I went to youtube and watched videos on the
    Resulta 7
    and followed along and this piece did all that the youtube videos said it could; so
    I will assume it is in working order.
    Apparently these were used in small retail stores as cash registers, no paper and pen for them.   What a great gift for that "math" person in your life or maybe for yourself.  I know I have been fascinated by it for years.
